An American writer, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In addition to attending Harrisburg Academy, he studied theater and filmmaking at Boston's Emerson College. Later, at the age of twenty, he relocated to Los Angeles and worked in concert lighting equipment, and taught himself screenplay writing. He also founded a production business. He is known for Sleepless in Seattle (1993). |
