Kuwaiti writer, poet, and songwriter, born in 1946 in Sharq, Kuwait. He graduated from the Teachers Institute, worked as a teacher of art education in the Ministry of Education, and rose in positions until he held the position of school vice-principal and then retired. His wife died in 1988 and she did not have any children. His first hobby is writing songs, and his second hobby is journalism. His hobby of writing began in middle school when his teacher asked him to write about an Indian movie. His distinguished style caught the attention of his teacher and he read his essay to the class, which encouraged him later to continue writing and reading. As for the hobby of journalism, it appeared in high school with his colleague and cousin Radwan Maqamis (journalist and radio broadcaster). He gradually wrote the lyrics of songs until 1974. At that time, he joined the press through the Mirror of the Nation magazine. His credits include Operetta: Lamps of Hope (1979) and Abo Khaled's Home (1980). He suffered from heart disease until his death on February 2, 1998.
