Christina Aziz |
An English poet, author, and translator, born in Salford, Britain in 1944. He studied modern languages at Wadham College, Oxford, and was a Fellow of the Queen's College, Oxford, until 2000. Constantine also lectured in the German language at Durham University from 1969 to 1981 and at the University of Oxford from 1981 to 2000.
He served as the co-editor of the literary magazine Modern Poetry in Translation. He also became a chief judge for the T.S. Eliot Prize. He is best known for his short story "In Another Country", which was adapted to the film 45 Years (2015). He also wrote a novel entitled "Davies" and published several collections of short stories, including "Under the Dam" (2005) and "The Shieling" (2009).
