Christina Aziz |
English writer born in Lancashire, Britain in 1944. He practiced poetry, translation, and writing. He also practiced modern languages at Wadham University in Oxford, and was a fellow at Queen's College in Oxford until 2000. He lectured the German language at Durham University from 1969 until 1981 and at Oxford University from 1981 until 2000. He also participated in editing a literary magazine entitled Modern Poetry in Translation. He also became the head of the jury for the Elliott Prize. One of his most important works is his short story "45 Years" which was adapted to a film of the same title in 2015. He also wrote a novel entitled "Davies and Fields of Fire: A Life of Sir William Hamilton" and published several collections of short stories, including The High Dam (2005) and The Shieling (2009).
