In 1931, he joined radio to work as a commentator on matches until 1947 and then turned to work in cinema. In the seventies, he presented a number of radio programs in addition to his work in cinema and commercial advertisements. Roland Winters died on October 22, 1989 (age 84) in Englewood, New Jersey, USA due to a stroke.
