French actor and lyricist, born in Annonay, France. He studied at the René Simon School of Dramatic Arts and appeared in more than 100 films between 1954 and 2016. His most important works as an actor include The Count of Monte Cristo (1998), Le Tigre aime la chair fraîche (1964), Line of Demarcation (1966) and L'or et la fleur (1974). He died on July 2, 2016 in Paris, at the age of 84. |
