An Indian actress, born on July 14, 1962 in Chennai, India. She has appeared in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. In 1978, she made her debut in the Tamil film Bhairavi. Her first Malayalam film was Panchagni (1986). After her marriage to a chartered accountant in 1997, she moved to the United States. A few years later, she again had roles in films. She has also appeared in South Indian TV serials. Geetha has won two Filmfare Awards South, Karnataka State Film Awards, and Kerala State Film Awards each. |
