A Syrian director and author, born in Idlib. He directed his first play in 1958, entitled The Devil’s Woman. Among his most prominent theatrical works are Caligula (1969), The Tragedy of Ulysses (1973), The Forest of Laurel (1974), and Al Zeer Salem (2007). Dr. Riyad Naasan Agha, the Minister of Culture, chose him to be the director of the National Theater in Idlib after he participated in numerous theatrical festivals and won numerous awards. |
