A Russian actress, born in Novohrad-Volynsky, Ukraine, to an army officer father and a science researcher mother. She has participated in school plays since she was young. She graduated from high school in 1978 and worked in the public library in Kharkiv, Ukraine. She then moved to Moscow in 1980 and joined the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts. She graduated from the institute in 1984 and joined the Sovremennik Theatre troupe in Moscow. She began her artistic career in the 1980s and participated in many films and series. Her most notable works include Interdevochka (1989), Encore, Once More Encore! (1993), The Best Day Ever (2015), and Flight Crew (2016).
