An American actor and singer, born in the United States, who attended several schools in the United States and abroad. He graduated from Pemberton Township High School in New Jersey and then from the University of Texas Southwestern. He later served in Vietnam in the United States Air Force, where he received a Bronze Star after obtaining a Master of Arts degree. After leaving the Air Force in 1970, he appeared in his first feature film, Keep My Grave Open (1977). In 1981, he was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in The Magnolia Club.
