Toqa Hesham |
An American actor, born on November 5, 1913, in New York, USA. He graduated from the Jesuit-run Regis High School in Manhattan in 1932, received a BA in English from Fordham University in 1938, and MA degrees from Columbia University and Catholic University.
He had a job as an English teacher, then worked as an actor and director at the Irish Repertory Theater in New York. Also, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army's 7th Armored Division in Europe during World War II, after which he taught at Christopher Columbus High School in the Bronx. McGiver worked off-Broadway until 1955, devoting himself to acting full time afterward.
McGiver participated in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), Lawman (1971), and The Glass Bottom Boat (1966). He died on September 9, 1975, in West Fulton, New York, USA, of a heart attack.
