Her father was of an English descent and her mother was...Read more of a French descent. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She worked for the National Entertainment Service during World War II. She made her debut with a small role in Caesar and Cleopatra (1945). She appeared in several films, including: Those Magnificent men in their Flying Machines (1965), So Long at the Fair (1950) and Let's Be Happy (1957). She died on July 10, 2009 in London.
