British actress, born on January 1, 1925 in Nairobi, Kenya. She was raised in Leicestershire after the death of her father. Her father was of an English descent and her mother was of a French descent. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She worked for the National Entertainment Service during World War II. She made her debut with a small role in Caesar and Cleopatra (1945). She appeared in several films, including: Those Magnificent men in their Flying Machines (1965), So Long at the Fair (1950) and Let's Be Happy (1957). She died on July 10, 2009 in London.
