A British actress who was born in Stepney, London, England, United Kingdom on June 1, 1933 and died on October 21, 1992 in Escher, Surrey, England, United Kingdom from a heart attack. She married actor Ian Mullins in 1954, and after their divorce, she married producer Michael Holden (1983-1992) and remained with him until her death. She did not have children from her husbands. She is known for The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), The Flying Doctor (1959), The Brain (1962) and Man Detained (1961). Ann Sears began her career on TV in 1956, and the following year, she debuted her cinematic career in secondary roles. Most of her works were TV series, and she had some theatrical appearances in London and Paris theaters.
