He became famous for composing several successful songs,...Read more such as "Whisper of the Wave" and "People Don't Blame My Heart". He also worked for a period in the Arab band of Tunis under the supervision of Mohamed Garfi, and in 2001 he was assigned to head the Festival De La Chanson Tunisienne. His brother Omar Sahbu also appeared in his family as director of LeMaghreb newspaper.
