An Egyptian broadcaster, she joined Egyptian TV in 1988 after working for a while at Amman TV. She was appointed as a bulletin reader and program presenter, and presented the program "A Book in My Life", during which she interviewed a large number of intellectuals and ambassadors. She was later promoted to a newsreader next to television giants such as Mahmoud Sultan and Zainab Sweidan. She appeared in the series It Was Never Love (1990).
