Other notable works of hers include The Mask of Fu Manchu (1932), Arsène Lupin (1932), and Dinner at Eight (1933). However, she was blacklisted in 1947 for having leftist views and being politically active, which she was for the rest of her life. She married twice and had one child. She died of pneumonia in Los Angeles on March 8, 2003.
