Marla Shelton is an extraordinary multi-talented woman who started out as a beauty pageant winner and secured a contract with MGM. To act, and she managed to get out of the star stage, to become experienced in acting and presenting distinguished personalities, and later became a songwriter. Marla became a professional radio operator at the age of 12, becoming the youngest person to obtain this license, and in 1926 during the Great Hurricane Miami, she and her father sent successive radio signals from Houston, which received great praise from the government. And because she was of charming beauty, with long black hair, she decided to walk the path of beauty queens, to reach her goal in acting, dancing and singing, and in 1927 she won the Miss Houston competition, and participated in several competitions until she reached her goal, and received lessons in dancing, and read Many books and plays, and she appeared in the amateur theater, and went to Hollywood to present her first films, Flying Down to Rio 1933, with Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, then she married and moved away, and after the divorce she returned to the cinema and participated in the movie Nobody's Fool 1936 and The Phantom Rider 1936, and after several films she presented roles Best like Under Cover of Night 1937 and Stand-In 1937 and the last with great actors Leslie Howard, Humphrey Bogart and Joan Blundell, a funny and smart comedy about the scenes of Hollywood, then she presented the movie 52nd Street 1937 and then separated two years because of her second marriage and returned with the movie Coast Guard 1939 She made several films The Lone Wolf Meets a Lady 1940, then moved away for two years and returned after her second divorce with the movie Bells of Capistrano 1942. In the fight against Nazism, she presented the movie Secrets of the Underground 1942 and stopped to return after the war and presented the movie Saratoga Trunk 1945 With Ingrid Bergman and Gary Cooper, and her latest film was Do YouLove Me1946, a romantic musical film with Maureen O'Hara and Dick Hymes, and she left acting to sing in the Clover Club and devote herself to composing songs.
