She graduated with honors with a BA in Performing Arts and received an invitation to participate in the Festival d'Avignon, France, representing Syria. She has worked with some of the biggest stars in Syria and the Middle East and won the Best Leading Actress award at the 2011 New York City International Film Festival. Her most important works include Bloodless (2014) and Three Veils (2011).
