• A Chinese actor, born in Beijing, China. He began his career at the age of 37 and became famous for playing the roles of mentors and kung fu masters. He appeared in more than 150...Read more films throughout his career. He was nominated for the 1979 Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor. Among his credits are Drunken Master (1978), Purple Lightning Sword (1964), and Snake in the Eagle's Shadow (1978). He died of a heart attack in Hong Kong, on January 8, 1979.
