A British actress born in Hertfordshire, England, UK. She began her career as a dancer who trained at the La Roche School of Dancing, and joined the London Palladium at 16 years old. She made her debut as a dancer on the TV program Cool for Cats in 1956. She also worked in nightclubs and theaters in London. Her acting debut was on the series Rush Hour (1958). She was part of the main National Theater group in 2012. Her notable works include Till Death Do Us Part (1966-1975), Worzel Gummidge (1979-1981), and Sherlock (2010-2017). She married twice and had two children. She died on August 12, 2021.
