Shaimaa Saied |
An American actress, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on June 24, 1907. She married Walfram Charles Franklin Day (1936-1937), and their marriage ended in divorce. Among her works are High Barbaree (1947), Born to Speed (1947), Girls of the Big House (1945) and The Contact Man (1949).
She appeared for the first time on stage at the age of fifteen in the Comedy Theatre, and also appeared in many roles on Broadway, and presented dramatic and musical plays. She began her film career in 1943 and played various roles such as working women, secretaries and wives, and with the start of television broadcasts in the late forties, she had major roles in many TV series. She died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on June 22, 1970, of pneumonia, at age 62.
