An American actress, born in Birmingham, Alabama, USA. She began her career as a dancer. Her mother, Linda, opened the Linda Dobbins Dance Studio when Anna was four years old and Linda began training her in all types of dance. She then showed interest in acting and working in fashion shows, before joining the Real People Birmingham Talent Agency and then the J Pervis Talent Agency Inc., an agency for representing artistic talents in the southeastern United States. She joined Birmingham-Southern College on a dance scholarship and graduated with a bachelor's degree in dance and choreography. She worked for several years in dance. Her films include Footloose, Lifted, Being Mary Jane, and The Vampire Diaries.
