An Italian actor, born in Florence, Tuscany, Italy as Gino Corrado Liserani. He appeared in more than 400 American films between 1916 and 1954, and he always played small roles. From 1916 to 1923, he was known as Eugene Corey, which was an Anglicized version of his name. In Italy, he received his classical training in the arts, then returned to America and continued his studies for the priesthood, then left his studies for family financial reasons. The family moved to California and settled in San Diego in 1912. He appeared in his first silent film, Gretchen the Greenhorn (1916). He worked in several studios using several American names, until he finally settled on the name Gino Corrado, but when sound was introduced to films, his Italian accent appeared, so his roles decreased. He then worked in the restaurant field until he opened his own Italian restaurant in 1956, which was frequented by Hollywood stars. After the restaurant was closed, he retired and managed a residential building, then retired permanently in the mid-seventies. He was married three times and had a son. His works include The Iron Mask (1929), The Amateur Gentleman (1926), and Two Sisters from Boston (1946). He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA on December 23, 1982, at age 89.
