She graduated from Hollywood High School and signed a contract with Universal in 1951 for $1,250/week. She participated in entertaining American soldiers during the Korean War. She appeared in her first television work in Armstrong Circle Theatre (1952), and her last appearance was in the series Cheyenne (1960), then she retired from the profession. She was married three times and had three children. Among her works are The Cimarron Kid (1952), Cattle Queen of Montana (1954) and The Shanghai Story (1954). She died of bladder cancer in Marina del Rey, California, USA on October 14, 1986, at age 54.
