A British actor born in Hampstead, London, England, United Kingdom on July 2, 1901 and died in Exeter, Devon, England, United Kingdom on December 1, 1987 of a heart attack. His most important works are Invasion of the Triffids (1963), The Wicker Man (1973), Vampire Over London (1952), and The Good Companions (1957). He became a British film and television actor. He appeared in most of the films produced by the Boateng brothers. His first appearance as a young boy was in the silent short film, Aways Tell Your Wife (1914), and his first feature film was A Master of Craft (1922). He made 16 silent films, and his first television appearance was in the series The Blakes in 1955. He retired from acting, and he died of a heart attack in 1987 at the age of 86.
