She has performed and directed in theater, film, TV, and radio in 16 different countries. She started her professional career performing "Marry Rose" in Inverness, Scotland. Also, she played various roles on stage in Oxford, Manchester, Bristol, Canterbury, Gloucester, and Liverpool. She is best known for ITV Play of the Week (1957), The United States Steel Hour (1959), and The Diary of Preston Plummer (2012).
