An American actress, born in Norfolk, Virginia, USA on April 18, 1923 and died in Los Angeles, California, USA on December 10, 1985. She was married to the actor Robert Emlin (1946-1985), had two children, and remained with him until her death. She is known for Four Days Wonder (1936), Life with Elizabeth (1953), Medic (1956), and M Squad (1958). She was a blue-eyed child actress, educated at a monastery. She had two successful Broadway jobs. Her movie, Days Wonder (1936) did not achieve the expected success, so she represented it with Diana Durbin in the movie Three Smart Girls (1936). She then took a long vacation to return again after becoming a young woman with MGM in the movie Bannerline (1951). She played several supporting roles, in addition to some works TV works. She retired at the end of the fifties. She died in 1985 at the age of 62.
