His career spanned 55 years, and he worked as a double for many stars. He served in the US Marines during World War II, and after the war, he participated in his first movie, Ambush (1950). He participated in many TV series, most notably Bonanza (1960-1971), where he appeared in 12 episodes. His last appearance was in the series NCIS (2007). He died in Northridge, California, USA on February 8, 2010 of cancer.
