She was an American actress, singer, and model born the youngest of 6 siblings. She made her first film, Our Very Own (1950) and won the title of Miss Opticians in 1953. She signed a contract with Fox in 1955 and won the title of Deep Star in the same year. She played her first major role in Good Morning Miss Dove (1955), and in the second half of the fifties, she appeared as a guest on many TV series and only presented the movie Never So Few (1959). In the sixties, she presented The Unforgiven (1960) then Harlow (1965) while focusing her activity on television work. Her last work was an episode in the series The Virginian (1967), and then she continued acting in the regional theater. She died of breast cancer in 1981 at the age of 46.
