She studied at the Art Institute in Boston, Florence, and Paris. She worked in photography and photography, and when she found that she would not be able to earn a living from art, she left painting and turned to acting. She presented several plays on Broadway and also presented her first work Anna and the King of Siam (1946). She continued her work in films, providing supporting roles, and was a guest on TV series in the early fifties. She presented her last work, Crackers (1984). She stopped acting and devoted herself to drawing until she died in 1986 at the age of 85.
