His most important works include The Champ (1979) and Cannon (1974). By the end of the forties, he worked as a stand-in for many actors in cinema and television, and in the sixties, he developed a friendship with Lee J. Cobb and worked regularly as his stand-in. He played supporting roles, such as a party guest, spectator, and waiter. He died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA on December 23, 1999 at the age of 77.
