Mauritz Hugo was a Swedish-born American film and TV actor. He was born in Östergötland, Sweden, on January 12, 1909, as Gustaf Folke Maurtiz Hugoo into a wealthy family. He married Marie. Among his most important works are No Questions Asked (1951), Tales of Wells Fargo (1958-1962), Seven Guns to Mesa (1958), and The Utah Kid (1944). Maurtiz Hugo left Sweden at the age of 15 for the United States, where he settled in California and held several jobs in public relations, which led him to the world of acting, in which he remained for about four decades. He died at the age of 65 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on June 16, 1974, of heart disease.
