British actress, born in Durban, Natal, South Africa on September 19, 1936 as Ann Harrison McCall. Anna got married twice and did not have children. She was born to an Irish father, an accountant, and an English mother. At the age of 15, she joined the South African National...Read more Theater. She went to London in 1952 to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In the late nineties, she appeared in a number of educational films and children's films. Due to her fall in her home, she completed her career in a wheelchair, until 2017 when she retired. Among her notable works are: Holiday on the Buses (1973), On the Buses (1971), and The Rag Trade (1977-1978). She died due to a house fire in 2022 at the age of 85, in London.
