Jack Mulhall worked in the silent era of cinema, then the sound era, and was prolific. He also participated in television programs and worked for the Screen Actors Guild. He started appearing in vaudeville shows at the age of 14. He presented more than 150 silent short films, but he was financially destroyed in the Great Depression. He continued to work in talkies prolifically until the late fifties. He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on June 1, 1979, of congestive heart failure at the age of 91.
