He provided Mexican and Spanish characters in cinema and television, such as the barber, prison guard, waiter, policeman, soldier, spy, servant, doctor, porter, and writer. He began his artistic activity in the twenties as a comedian in Los Angeles theaters. In the early thirties, he worked in cinema; in the early fifties, he participated in television programs. He also formed the comedy group Felipin Y Rosita with his wife and presented their shows in Spanish. He died in Los Angeles, California, USA, on March 9, 1992, from pneumonia, at the age of 93.
