A British radio and television actor and writer, born in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England, United Kingdom, into a theatrical family. Edward Sinclair married Gladys Green (1940-1977), they had two children, and she remained with him until his death. Among his most important works are David Copperfield (1974), Dad’s Army (1971), and The Bells (1931).
He made his first appearance on stage when he was 6 months old, carried by his mother. He started out in amateur dramas and turned professional when he was close to forty years old, and he had some appearances in cinema and television. Edward Sinclair died in Cheddar, Somerset, England, United Kingdom, on August 29, 1977, from a heart attack at the age of 63.
