A British film, television, and stage actor, born in London, England, United Kingdom. Gerald Harper was married twice and had two children. Among his most important works are Adam Adamant Lives! (1966-1967), The League of Gentlemen (1960), The Admirable Crichton (1957), and Gazette (1968).
Gerald Harper also worked as a radio broadcaster and stage director. He received his education at Haileybury and Imperial Service College and joined the University of Cambridge to study medicine. After two years in the British Royal Army, he decided to give up medicine and joined the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He began working at the London Arts Theatre, then Liverpool Playhouse, and in the mid-fifties, he began working in cinema and television.
