After its recent premier in the States, actor Christian Bale expressed his joy by working with director Yimou Zhang who is considered an icon in the Asian Cinema in "The Flowers of War". The film is known to have caused problems with the Chinese Government, and during its premier in China in December 2011,Chrisitian visited the Asian Human Rights Activist " Jane Noachiching" in his 15 months house arrest but he was mistreated by the security officer and the authorities officially expressed their dissatisfaction with this surprise visit. According to Bale, he didn't care much for this complaint, or their ban of the film or cutting out some scenes as what really matters to him is the feedback on this film and how much added to his acting career. The film takes place before World War II during the second Japanese war on China in what is known as Japan's rape in Nanjing. An American mortician, John (Christian Bale), arrives to Japan to bury a priest but then he dresses as one to survive the brutal attacks from the Japanese soldiers.
