Ibrahim Nasr refused to portray Saad El Katatny in a comedy show next Ramadan, explaining that now is not the time to take political matters lightly, especially that people are still in the dark about where things are going. He said he'd rather present a comedy show that is completely unrelated to politics seeing that the public opinion changes on a daily basisOn another front Ibrahim Nasr expressed his content about the two awards he got for his role in Ahmed Helmy's blockbuster "X-Large", saying that those two awards are mere proof that hard work and patient anticipation for a good role always pays off; because after his long hiatus from cinema since his movie "Zakia Zakaria in the parliament" in 2001 he made such an impactful returnHe also stated that the return of his program "Hidden Camera" is never off the table given the right time and conditions.Ibrahim Nasr will start filming a new Sitcom abroad; however, details about the project are yet to be revealed. A stand-up comedy program titled "Anecdote and laugh" is in the works as well.
