According to BoxOffice gross rates; Forbes announced 2012 highest earning Hollywood stars withRobert Downey Jr. sitting on top of the list with 1.5 billion dollars for hisrole as “Iron Man” in “The Avengers”. Forbes believes that “Iron Man” was thereason behind the huge success of the comic book based film and Downey Jr. wasthe highest paid actor among the cast of the film.
Coming in second placeis Kristen Stewart with 1.2 billion dollars for her role in “Breaking Dawn 2”,the final film of the Twilight series that collected more than 779 milliondollars. Stewart has out-grossed co-stars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner inthe film after the release of “Snow White and the Huntsman” last May that made396 million dollars.
Christian Bale is thethird highest grossed Hollywood star for his role in Warner Bros. “The DarkKnight Rises” where the film has made over one billion dollars add to it hislatest film “The Flowers of War” that made 300 million.
Coming in fourth placeis Daniel Craig for his role in the 23rd James Bond film “Skyfall”that made 350 million dollars so far and is still showing in theaters.
Fifth place was reservedfor “Breaking Dawn 2” star Robert Pattinson who wasn’t as successful as Stewartin his other two films “Bel Ami” and Cosmopolis” as they both made only 14million. Following him in sixth place is his co-star Taylor Lautner from the “Twilight”gross only.
In seventh place is leadstar Andrew Garfield from the other comics based film “The Amazing Spider-Man”that made 752 million and in eighth place is Jennifer Lawrence for her role in “TheHunger Games” with 748 million dollars as the film made 687 million and therest of her gross was from her latest two films “House at the End of the Street”and “Silver Linings Playbook”.
Will Smith comes inninth place with 624 million from his film “Men In Black 3” and in tenth placeand wasn’t expected is Marc Walberg with 598 million from his role in “Ted” whichmade 502 million dollars and made the rest from his role in “Contraband”.
