22-year-old actress Emma Watson was stopped at JFK airport as officials thought she was an unaccompanied minor. The officials told her she was not allowed to pass without an adult.
Sources said the young looking actress was embarrassed for not being recognized and for being mistaken as a child, but she handled the situation with a sense of humor and said she is twenty-two.
The "Harry Potter" starlet then tweeted: "Passport control: 'unaccompanied minor?' Me: 'sorry?' Passport control: 'where is your guardian?' Me: 'I'm22!!!!!! #neverwearingbackpackagain"
She then added, "The really sad thing is that this is not the first time this has happened".
Watson is currently working on shooting Darren Aronofsky's "Noah,"which will bring the biblical epic of Noah and the flood to the big screen. "Noah," starring Russell Crowe as the titular character, should hit theaters in March 2014.
