An executive producer of the Golden Globes, which is taking place on Sunday 13 January, confirmed that British singer Adele will be attending the ceremony where her very own "Skyfall" song received a nomination for Best Original Soundtrack. This will mark Adele's first public appearance this year after she gave birth to her first child in October.

Adele's soundtrack is competing with Taylor Swift's "Safe& Sound" from "The Hunger Games," John Bon Jovi's "Not Running Anymore" from "Stand Up Guys," Keith Urban's "For You" from "Act of Valor," and Hugh Jackman's "Suddenly"from "Les Misérables.

"Skyfall" was also nominated for five Oscars, including best score and best original song. This set off rumors that Adele will be performing at the 85thAcademy Awards especially since this year is the 50th anniversary of the Bonds series.
