Jim Carrey wants Emma Stone in "Dumb and Dumber" Sequel

Jim Carrey, 51, is getting excited about the reboot to his 1994 cult comedy "Dumb and Dumber." He recently said he'd love to see "Spiderman" actress Emma Stone in the film. Director Peter Farrelly had said beforehand that Channing Tatum and Stone would be great in the film, so Carrey's statement comes as a stamp of approval of sorts.

Carrey also said that he and old partner Jeff Daniels are fully prepared to resume their roles, telling E! at the SXSW Film Festival, "I'm ready. There's a script. It's fun. Jeff and I are raring to go." The sequel already has a hilarious title, too: "Dumb and Dumber To."

Apparently, the film is awaiting the green light from studio execs.
