New York Film Festival will be honoring British actor Ralph Fiennes today, in its 51st round, for his achievements and outstanding career.

Rose Kuo, ‎Executive Director at Film Society of Lincoln Center, has expressed her happiness and enthusiasm about the honoring of Fiennes, as he is considered one of the top Hollywood stars, who succeeded in playing several characters from works by famous international authors like Shakespeare, Dickens and Graham Greene. She also pointed out that Ralph's honoring isn't only based on his acting abilities, but also on his critically acclaimed film “ The Invisible Woman”, which is his second effort as a film director.

In other news, the festival continues its events and screenings today, with the American film “The Immigrant”, directed by James Gray, and starring Joaquin Phoenix and Marion Cotillard, along with the French films “Bastards” by Claire Denis, and “Abuse of Weakness” by Catherine Breillat.
