Britishofficials expressed their outrage from Brad Pitt and his new war film“ Fury”'s crew, after they insisted on filming several scenes inOxfordshire village on the 11thof November (Remembrance Day), without respecting the feelings oflocal people.

RemembranceDay is an annual event during which Brits celebrate the end of the first World War (on Nov. 11, 1918at 11 a.m.), and “commemorate the contribution of British andCommonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the twoWorld Wars and later conflicts."

Thecelebration coincided with the filming of Pitt's film this year, withdirector David Ayer and the crew, of staged WWII battle scenesthat featured a big number of extras dressed as Nazi officers andsoldiers, which sparked the people's outrage. Council chairman IanHill told the Daily Mirror: "It is outrageous appeals from locals toreconsider plans to film on such an occasion were ignored.Whoeveris responsible is insensitive."

Headded: “A letter has been sent to express our feelings of howinappropriate it was for Sherman tanks to be rolling across thecountryside while explosions were being let off.”

Furyis set to be released in 2014 on the 14thof November. Shia LaBeouf, and Logan Lerman co-star alongside BradPitt.
