A Delegation of Actors Celebrate the Anniversary of the 10th Day of Ramadan with the Army

ِA delegation of actors eagerly accepted Father Batrous Daniel’s invitation to attend a celebration of the Armed Forces on the anniversary the 10th Day of Ramadan inside military headquarters at which the Chief of the Armed Forces would also be in attendance. Early Monday morning, they went to the place where the celebration would be held.

A number of actors were invited to the celebration, but the majority were unable to attend due to the filming schedules of their Ramadan TV serials, including Adel Imam and Nehal Anbar. Some of those who were in attendance include actress Sherine Reda, actress Safaa Abu Saoud, actress Nesrine Imam, actress Lekaa Sweedaan, Mona Rageb, and head of the Actors’ Syndicate Mossad Fouda, in addition to a number of journalists and correspondents of different channels.

Several civil society institutions, including Father Batrous Daniel and a group from Al-Azhar, initiated the event in order to thank soldiers and the Armed Forces for securing the electoral process throughout the past year since the 30th of June 2013. The actors presented the soldiers with flowers and took a number of photos with them as mementos.
