The story of Dr. Ahmed Abdul Haq, who gets appointed as the general manager in a governmental institution. After he discovers the large scale of corruption there, he tries to fix it with the aid of his friend, director Wahid, who helps him disguise himself to expose the corrupt employees.

The events revolve around a group of neighbors and their daily lives, with a focus on Ola, whose uncle forces her to leave education in order to marry his son, but she later leaves him to marry another person.

Fearing that years might pass by, Samir and Samira are forced to marry each other by the use of a new technology, but their life quickly turns upside down when it turns into a competition between men and women.
After Misbah moves to the capital, he lives with his friend Daou, who is looking for a bride, and publishes an ad in the paper, so Misbah does the same and is exposed to many situations. But when Misbah wants to marry Dora, he faces rejection from her family because of his poverty.
