The story follows the prominent family of Al-Fakhar, and its patriarch the businessman Alaa. As his son falls in love with a girl from a poor family, disputes arise between them that break up family bonds because of the differences and problems they face.
Wanis and his wife Maysa continue to raise their four children on proper morals and values, while discovering that they don't practice many of the values they cultivate in their children in the process, so they try to be better role models for them.
