As Kamal and Salwa live with his relative, they are subjected to harassment from the owners of the house. They decide to live with Salwa's relative, where they also feel uncomfortable. When they discover that their villa, which previously collapsed, is rebuilt again, but as a building, they live in it.

Anisa asks Kamal to help and stand with her, especially after the arrival of a bailiff to the apartment, wanting to collect money from her. As Salwa is jealous of Anisa, her friend advises her to find a groom for Anisa.

As Salwa asks her husband Kamal to renovate the apartment and bring in new furniture, he tells her that he does not have money. Salwa tells him that she will work, but as she works in various jobs, she fails in all of them.

When Kamal gets sick, Salwa finds herself in trouble. As the building gatekeeper proposes that she rents her apartment, she goes to live in Anisa's apartment, especially since the latter traveled to Alexandria. But when Anisa returns from travel and learns about what happened, she helps Kamal and Salwa.

When Kamal and Salwa hear their neighbors quarreling because their children failed in school in various subjects, Salwa decides to help her neighbors by tutoring their children.

As Kamal quarrels with Salwa on a daily basis, their daughter Laila hears their yelling and runs away from the house on the day of her engagement. As Kamal and Salwa reevaluate their behavior, Laila returns home.

When the police arrest Kamal on charges of tampering with the filter deal, the residents of the building start to mock them, until Kamal is acquitted.

When Salwa tells Kamal that he no longer loves her as he used to, she starts to pay attention to herself as she buys new clothes. As Kamal takes notice of her, he shows his affection for her and buys her flowers.

As Hassan and Laila decide to buy a piece of land in the desert and cultivate it, the police disrupt them by red tape. The young people do their best to find a solution but to no avail.

The parents complain about the school principal’s treatment of them, especially since she constantly requests donations from them and does not accept new children in the school except with a bribe, so they file a complaint against her.

The relatives of Anisa and Hassan are forced to stay at her home for a period of time. As Wael’s foreign wife gets angry with the customs and traditions of Egyptian food on holidays, she asks for a divorce from him, but the court denies her request.

Anisa gets angry after learning that her son Hassan is talking to girls; she decides to find a bride for him with the help of her female friends.

When the neighbors of Kamal, Salwa, and Anisa leave their children with them, Salwa decides to open a nursery for the kids, but they face many problems with the police.

When Kamal and Salwa hear their neighbors quarrel over the house expenses, Salwa decides to organize the couple’s life and take care of their expenses. Salwa ends up paying them out of her pocket to help them out.

A woman in the building incites the residents against each other as she enjoys watching them quarrel. As she drives a wedge between Anisa and Salwa, Anisa finally finds out and teaches her a harsh lesson. A government employee informs them that the building has unauthorized floors that must be taken down.
