Mabrouka suffers the mistreatment of her aunt Haifaa's husband as well as her uncle Ya'coub. As she claims her inheritance, they force her to marry her cousin, Nabil. Helpless, Mabrouka runs to her sister Mahzouza, whom her uncle admitted into a mental hospital to seize her inheritance.
Reunited at the mental hospital, Mabrouka and Mahzouza flee the institution to exact revenge on the husband of a fellow inmate, Ghanima, for taking another wife and torturing their daughter. Once their mission is accomplished, the sisters return to the hospital.
The hospital manager gives orders to have Mabrouka and Mahzouza in a solitary ward. Ya'coub and his wife plot against the sisters. They prepare food with explosives within it and ask Dr. Sharkan to give it to them, which he does.
As Sharkan allows the patients to go on a walk, Mabrouka and Mahzouza seize the chance and flee in a car. They head to their uncle's and threaten him to give them their inheritance. The police take the sisters back to the hospital where they hypnotize Abu Akil.
Now that Abu Akil is hypnotized, Mabrouka and Mahzouza prompt him to give orders to have them discharged. Once he is conscious, Dr. Abu Akil sends them to be confined in the cooling chamber.
Mabrouka and Mahzouza successfully flee the hospital and think of a way to get their uncle to return their money.
Ya'coub accuses his two nieces of theft and reports them to the police, but Nabil absolves them and reveals his father's plot to have them imprisoned. Mahzouza and Mabrouka leave the house and look for jobs to fend for themselves, away from their uncle.
Mabrouka and Mahzouza start working at a hairdresser's, but the business owner fires them as she learns they've been telling the clients that the products they use are of poor quality. Their next job at a supermarket is also a failure as they terribly market the items.
Failing to land another job, Mabrouka and Mahzouza feign illness to get admitted into a hospital. However, things go wrong as it turns out they entered a private hospital and they have to pay the bill for their stay there. Cash-strapped, they flee the hospital.
The two sisters work as maids, Mahzouza at Dr. Tiba's and Mabrouka at Composer Ahmed's, who admires her piano skills.
Ahmed's wife quarrels with him for allowing Mabrouka to play his piano. As for Mahzouza, she spends her time caring for Dr. Tiba's children, as their own mother who preaches about child care often neglects her own kids. Faisal learns the two sisters escaped from the mental hospital.
As Tiba learns that Mahzouza and Mabrouka are escapees from the mental asylum, they flee to look for other jobs and rent an apartment. However, they're shocked to see their pictures in the newspaper.
Mahzouza and Mabrouka form a band. As their uncle finds out, he and his wife Haifaa ask to join in. However, things go terribly wrong and the band breaks up.
Mabrouka and Mahzouza get new jobs at a company, and as Mabrouka learns that the manager is cheating on his wife, she informs the latter. As it is revealed that corruption rules in the company, the sisters report some employees to the police.
Mabrouka and Mahzouza meet the company's owner, Abu Fadl, to acquaint him with the corruption inside his company. The sisters learn that Abu Khaled bought their house, and his wife passed away upon learning that he took a second wife.
